Any marketer student or otherwise will need to be able to speak “internet marketing” language if they hope to work in the field of marketing tomorrow or in the future.

I went to buy a newspaper from the trusty newsrack near my lakehouse I had bought papers from for several years and discovered it had been removed.
I initially thought it was a store related issue so I drove to the next location several miles away only to find it too was gone.
I asked the store owner about the newsracks whereabouts and learned all of the newstands for the “state’s newspaper” had been removed to reduce costs.
I would make the trip to buy the paper more out of habit than necessity.
Why buy a newspaper when you can get all of the same information on a laptop or handheld without the trip, time or cost?
I guess the state’s newspaper along with every other newspaper are now asking the very same question too.

After what seems like years of waiting, a photo and video I add to my Google Local Business Center account have finally been added to my Google Maps listing.

From the outset, my listing has displayed the data I initially provided to Google including my Website, Hours, Payment Accepted, Description and Email.

However, the images I added shortly after the Local Business Center began accepting photos and videos didn’t appear in my business listing until recently.

Twitter has begun testing real time inline search within some Twitter accounts.

Currently, a small subset of Twitter users are trying this new search feature in the sidebar of their Twitter home page. When you do a search, you don’t go to another page, the relevant tweets instantly show up where you’d expect them to—right on your home page where tweets love to be.
I have the new Twitter search box in my account and find its inline search results much more convenient and practical.
