Today while signing into my Google account, I noticed a new message from Google -“Make Google Maps Your Maps.”
Customize Your Google Maps Experience
After signing in, I was taken to a page called “Personalize Google Maps”.
With this feature, I can now create my own personalized Google Map from either my content, Google’s featured map content or a combination of both.

Google Maps offers 10 sources of featured content or you can browse the Google Maps directory to find and add additional content to create and personalize your own Google Maps experience.
